Hanuman Chalisa In English 2024

Lord Hanuman is a central figure in Hindu mythology and is one of the most revered deities. He is known for his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama, a principal avatar of the god Vishnu. Hanuman is depicted as a monkey-faced deity with great strength, valor, wisdom, and devotion.

Hanuman's origin story is quite fascinating. According to Hindu scriptures, he is the son of Anjana and Kesari, and he was born with the blessings of the Wind God, Vayu. It is believed that when Anjana was worshiping Lord Shiva, the king of gods, Indra, mistook her prayers as an attempt to gain power over him. As a result, Indra struck Anjana with a thunderbolt. Vayu, the Wind God, caught the child Hanuman as he fell from Anjana's womb due to the impact of the thunderbolt. Vayu then raised Hanuman as his own son.
